Bowls Manawatu

“The open men represented Bowls Manawatu this year in Auckland and across the three playing days there were some great bowls played in very good spirit. It’s great to see a team of eight players proud to represent the Manawatu at this high level. Whilst the team was unable to qualify for the quarter finals, we pushed the finalists Canterbury and Wellington hard and gave them some tough competition. Thanks to all the players who have represented Manawatu this year in both in the open and the development representative fixtures throughout the year, well done to the woman’s open team re their achievement in Auckland. Now we turn our attention to the 2026 – 2027 session ahead, well done to all the players who won centre titles this year with some stella games played, winter well everyone and let’s get ready to be even better this coming session.
